Manage Events

Use Events to create tournaments, prereleases, leagues, demos, and other store events with registration details.

Before you start

  • Know event date, time, capacity, price, format, and registration rules.
  • Confirm payment setup if registration requires online payment.

What success looks like

  • Saved eligible events appear on the storefront where events are shown.
  • Customers can register when registration is enabled and capacity remains.
  • Attendee lists update as customers register.

How this area works

Reference information for the choices on this page.

Event setup fields
  • Title and description tell customers what the event is.
  • Date, time, and capacity control registration expectations.
  • Entry fee and payment settings control checkout.
  • Registration questions collect information staff need before the event.
Event day workflow
  • Review attendee list before the event.
  • Check in customers as they arrive.
  • Use notes or registration details to handle special cases.
Actions on the Events page
  • Use Today, Upcoming, and Completed tabs to find events by status and timing.
  • Use Create Event for a single tournament, prerelease, league night, demo, or community event.
  • Use Create Repeating Event when the same event happens on a schedule and should generate multiple event dates.
  • Open an event card to review or edit its details, registrations, capacity, status, and attendee information.
  • Use Settings to manage event types, formats, locations, prize structures, event templates, and registration forms.
  • Use event templates when repeated events share the same default title, description, pricing, fields, or linked event behavior.
  • Use the registration form builder to add fields, edit field properties, preview the form, and choose what customers must answer before registering.
  • Use Cancel Event carefully: paid registrations can be refunded through their original payment transaction before cancellation, or intentionally cancelled without refunds.
  • Use Payout Event after results are final to save or finalize cash, store-credit, pack, or other prizes. Finalizing updates the related customer, inventory, and accounting records.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

Customers cannot register

Check that the event is upcoming, has remaining capacity, has a registration form when one is required, and has a working online payment provider when an entry fee is charged.

The event is missing online

Confirm the event is saved and upcoming. Sanctioned-play events remain hidden until the event has its own code, signup link, or registration instructions. Also confirm the storefront has an event list or calendar where customers can find it.
