Remove a player, with or without a refund
Remove a registration from the event’s active player list. If it has a refundable payment, choose whether to refund that payment as part of the removal.
Before you start
- Content → Events
- You need Events: View permission to open events. Creating, editing, or canceling events requires the corresponding permission. Refunding a paid registration also requires Issue refunds.
What success looks like
- The registration moves out of the active player list, and its history shows whether a refund was processed.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1Open the event, find the active registration, and click Remove.
- 2If there is no refundable payment, click Remove Registration to confirm, or Cancel to keep the player.
- 3If a refund is available, review the amount. Choose Refund and Remove to refund the original payment method, or Remove without Refund and confirm the second prompt. Choose Keep Registration at that prompt to leave the player unchanged.
- 4Wait for the action to finish, then check the active player count and Removed players. Reopen the event to check the saved result.
- 5If an error occurs, review the registration and payment status before attempting another refund or removal.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
No refund option is available
Check that your role can issue refunds and that the registration has a payment with a refundable balance.
A removed player appears as active again
Check whether someone used Register again. That creates a new active registration while retaining the previous payment and refund history.
A paid registration has no refund option
Choose Cancel if the prompt has no refund choice but you expect a refundable payment. Reopen the event and wait for its registration and payment details to load. Check the recorded payment and remaining refundable balance before continuing. Contact support if the choices still do not match the payment.
