Manage Store Settings
Use Store Settings for the store name, tax rate, default storefront catalog order, account details, setup shortcuts, onboarding tour, and connected custom domain.
Before you start
- Use a store owner or administrator account.
- Confirm the combined tax rate that should be used at checkout before changing it.

- Saved settings persist after refresh.
- Storefront and dashboard pages reflect relevant setting changes.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1Open Settings > Store Settings.
- 2Review the store name, read-only storefront address, tax rate, and default storefront catalog sort.
- 3Update only the fields you intend to change.
- 4Choose Save Changes and wait for the confirmation.
- 5Open affected storefront, POS, or dashboard areas to confirm the change.

Update core store settingsThis page holds the small set of store-wide defaults that affect checkout and storefront behavior.
- 1Confirm the store name shown in the sidebar before editing.
- 2Update the store name, combined tax rate, or default storefront catalog sort.
- 3Save Changes and wait for the saved confirmation.
- 4Open POS after a tax change or the storefront after a name or sort change and verify the result.
Restart the onboarding tourThe tour can be replayed for a new manager or staff training.
- 1Choose Restart Tour in Onboarding Tour.
- 2The dashboard opens and begins the guided walkthrough.
- 3Use a training account when the person should not have access to every setup area.
Disconnect a custom storefront domainDisconnecting makes the hosted MintLGS address the primary storefront again.
- 1Record the current custom and hosted storefront addresses.
- 2Choose Disconnect Domain and confirm the warning.
- 3Open the hosted storefront address and verify pages, checkout, and account access.
- 4Update any customer-facing links that still point to the disconnected domain.

Change safely
- Make one group of changes at a time.
- Confirm public-facing changes from the storefront.
- Tell staff when a setting affects POS or fulfillment workflows.
Actions on the Store Settings page
- Use Store Information to edit the store name, tax rate, and default storefront catalog sort. The Store URL shown here is read-only.
- Use Save Changes after editing those store-wide values.
- Use Account Information to confirm the signed-in name, email, and role; these values are not edited here.
- Use Payment Setup or Shipping & Fulfillment to open those dedicated configuration areas.
- Use Restart Tour when staff need to rerun the guided dashboard walkthrough.
- Use custom domain disconnect only when you intentionally want to remove a connected storefront domain.
- After changing settings, check the storefront, dashboard, and POS areas affected by that setting.
Troubleshooting

A public setting did not update
Refresh the storefront and check whether the setting applies to a different page than expected.
You are unsure what a setting affects
Do not change it during store hours. Ask support or test in a low-risk window first.
