Store Settings
Connect, verify, or disconnect a custom domain
Use your own website address by connecting a custom domain. Verify its DNS records or disconnect the domain from your store.
Before you start
- MintLGS account dashboard → Account Settings → Custom Domain
- You need access to the account’s domain settings and permission to edit the domain’s DNS records.
What success looks like
- The verified domain opens your store, and Account Settings shows the storefront, dashboard, and POS addresses.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1To connect a domain, enter Your domain and click Connect. Select your DNS host and choose Root domain or Subdomain.
- 2Copy the displayed routing and ownership TXT records to your DNS host, using the exact Type, Name, Value and TTL. Check the final host and any DNS-only instruction. Save the records, return to MintLGS and click Verify DNS. Correct any reported record before verifying again.
- 3To stop unfinished setup, click Cancel. To remove a connected domain, click Disconnect domain. Type the exact domain when prompted to confirm, or cancel the prompt to keep it. Disconnecting takes the custom address offline; your hosted MintLGS address stays available.

Reference information for the choices on this page.
Important details
- After verification succeeds, open the displayed storefront, dashboard and POS addresses to check them.
- Use your own generated DNS records, not values from an example or another store.
- DNS caches may delay visible changes after records are saved.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
Verification fails
Compare the reported record and final host with the saved DNS value; some providers append the domain automatically. Retry after propagation.
A certificate warning remains immediately after verification
Check whether local DNS still resolves the old host and retry after it refreshes.
