Store Settings

Verify the sender domain for customer emails

Add and verify the DNS records needed to send customer emails from your custom domain.

Before you start

  • MintLGS account dashboard → Account Settings → Email Sending Domain
  • Your account needs Store Settings: View permission to open this page and Change settings permission to save changes. Account and billing actions depend on your account’s access.

What success looks like

  • After both email DNS checks pass, customer emails use the verified sender shown on the page. Until then, MintLGS uses the displayed fallback sender.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Verify your custom storefront domain first. In Email Sending Domain, choose Set up Email Domain to generate the email DNS records.
  2. 2Copy each displayed DNS record to your DNS host using its Name and Value. Return to MintLGS, choose Verify Email DNS and check both DKIM and Return-Path. Both must pass; correct any remaining record and verify again.
  3. 3Check Sender behavior for the address your customer emails use. Until both checks pass, they use the displayed fallback sender. To stop using the custom sender, choose Remove Email Domain and check the fallback address shown afterward. MintLGS platform emails to you use a separate sender.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

Setup is disabled

Verify the custom storefront domain and check whether email-domain automation is available.

Only one DNS check passes

Correct the remaining record and verify again; a connected storefront domain alone does not verify email sending.
