Store Settings

Reset selected store data

Preview the records a reset would remove, resolve any blockers, and confirm permanent deletion.

Before you start

  • Settings → Store Settings
  • The reset control is visible only to accounts with reset access.
  • Save any records you need before resetting. The selected removal has no undo.
  • Reset does not cancel external orders, refund payments, or remove records held by other services.

What success looks like

  • The reset receipt lists the categories and record counts affected. Staff accounts, account access, and unselected categories are kept.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Open Store Settings → Reset store data → Review reset options.
  2. 2Select the categories you want to reset. Leave categories you want to keep unchecked.
  3. 3Click Preview reset. Review the store name, affected record counts, data that will be kept, and any blockers.
  4. 4Resolve listed blockers before continuing. Click Change selection if you need to choose different categories.
  5. 5Type the exact confirmation text, enter your current password, and acknowledge that removal is permanent.
  6. 6Click Permanently reset selected data and wait for the reset receipt.
  7. 7Review the completed counts. If the result cannot be confirmed, follow the prompt to re-enter your password and retry this same reset. That retry checks the saved outcome of the existing operation.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

No reset control is visible

The current account does not have reset access.

The outcome is uncertain

Keep the current reset review and use its documented retry to check the same operation. Do not start a different reset to guess the result.
