Events
Share your event calendar
Copy the public calendar link for use in a calendar app. If Google publishing is available, you can also connect Google Calendar and publish MintLGS events to a separate calendar there.
Before you start
- Content → Events → Event Settings → Calendar Sharing
- You need Events: Edit/manage permission.
What success looks like
- People can subscribe to your public event feed. A connected Google calendar receives updates from MintLGS while publishing is active.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1In Calendar Sharing, find Public calendar link. Click Copy link to use it as a calendar subscription, or Open calendar file to view the feed.
- 2Check Event details page. If no page is detected, add a Calendar section to a storefront page and publish it.
- 3If Google publishing is enabled, click Connect Google Calendar and authorize the connection. MintLGS creates a separate calendar for your events.
- 4Check the connection status and last sync time. Click Update now to request an update, Pause publishing to stop publishing temporarily, or the resume action to restart it.
- 5Use Reconnect Google if the connection asks you to renew authorization.
- 6If you want to stop the Google connection, click Disconnect and confirm. The calendar and its existing events remain in your Google account.
- 7Under Events without an end time, choose a fallback duration and click Save. Check the store time zone shown on the page.
How this area works
Reference information for the choices on this page.
Important details
- The calendar app receiving a subscription decides when to refresh it.
- The fallback duration is used only for events that have no end time.
- The public calendar feed is available as an alternative when Google publishing is unavailable.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
Calendar entries do not link to the storefront
Publish a storefront page with a Calendar section, then check Event details page in Calendar Sharing.
An edit in Google Calendar did not update MintLGS
The connection publishes changes from MintLGS to Google. Make event changes in MintLGS if they should be reflected in both places.
