Orders

Add tracking and mark orders shipped

Add carrier and tracking details, mark orders shipped, or correct an existing tracking number.

Before you start

  • Orders → Ready to Ship
  • Your account needs permission to update transactions. Editing tracking in an order’s detail also requires permission to update shipping.

What success looks like

  • The orders show as shipped with the carrier and tracking details you entered.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1In Ready to Ship, select the orders you are shipping.
  2. 2Click Add Tracking. Select the Carrier and enter a Tracking Number for each order.
  3. 3Check the entered values, then click the Ship Orders button showing the selected count. This saves the tracking information and marks those orders shipped.
  4. 4You can also use Mark Shipped for a selection or Ship on an individual row. If Missing Tracking Numbers appears, click Add Tracking or use Ship Without Tracking when it is available.
  5. 5To add or correct tracking in the order detail, open Fulfillment → Shipments and click Add tracking number or Edit tracking. Update the carrier and number, then click Save. Close and reopen the order to check the saved details.
  6. 6Check the shipment details and confirm that successfully shipped orders appear in Completed.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

Shipping is blocked

Read the message to see whether a release hold, tracking requirement, stock problem, or marketplace restriction is blocking shipping.

The carrier is not in the batch list

Use Other where offered and retain the correct tracking value.

An order remains ready to ship

Review the batch result; an individual failure does not mean all selected orders failed.
