- Your account needs Payments: Manage setup permission to open and configure Payment Setup. Viewing cash-drawer activity requires Payments: View status.
- These steps apply only when Printers & drawers offers a Connector download and pairing controls. If those controls are absent, use the browser options shown on that page.

Quick start
Choose the task you need. Each task has its own steps.
Connect a station computer
- 1Select the checkout station that uses this computer.
- 2Check the available download. The Connector currently supports Windows; on other supported devices, use POS browser hardware.
- 3Download and open the Connector on the station’s computer. It runs in the Windows notification area and starts when that Windows user signs in.
- 4In MintLGS, click Create setup key. Copy the key into the Connector’s local setup window before it expires.
- 5Return to Printers & drawers and wait for Connected. Check the devices detected on the computer.
Reconnect a station computer
- 1To reinstall or replace lost settings, open Payment Setup → POS setup → Printers & drawers and select the station. Create a reconnect key and enter it in the Connector. Close the previous Connector before opening an updated copy. Check that the station returns to Connected.
Disconnect a station computer
- 1To stop a computer from receiving hardware commands, open Payment Setup → POS setup → Printers & drawers and select its station. Click Disconnect, read the confirmation, and confirm only if you intend to stop this connection. You can still review registered devices and station assignments.
