Point of Sale

Scan or search items and build a sale

Find items by barcode or search, choose the correct options, and complete a sale.

Before you start

  • Dashboard → Point of Sale → MintLGS POS
  • Your account needs permission to take POS payments. Discounts, transaction history, refunds, station settings, and cash-drawer actions may require additional permissions.

What success looks like

  • The completion screen shows the transaction number, item count, and payment total. The sale is now recorded in MintLGS.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Select SELL. Check the location in the header; use More → Hardware to check the station.
  2. 2Scan a barcode or enter at least two characters in the item search. You can search by card name, set, card number, or product name. BUY mode also has a separate Card number field.
  3. 3For a single, select the printing, condition, and quantity. For a variable product, select the option the customer is buying. If a Master UPC matches several products, choose the correct product from the picker.
  4. 4Check each item in Current Sale. Open a row to change its quantity or click Remove to take it out of the cart. To sell a different printing or condition, remove the incorrect row and add the correct option from the search results.
  5. 5Select a customer if you need to use store credit or save the sale to that customer’s history.
  6. 6Review discounts, tax, and the total, then click Pay. Resolve any price or stock warnings before continuing.
  7. 7Add the payment amounts and click Complete Transaction. Wait for the completion screen before starting another sale.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

A scan does not find the item

Read the scan message and check its barcode, selected location, POS availability, and stock. A single label and a product barcode identify different inventory records.

The product says No price

Set its selling price in Products before relying on it for checkout.

Prices and discounts could not be verified

Payment has not started when that specific message is shown. Resolve the connection or pricing error and let POS refresh the quote.
