Pricing

Approve, override, or reject a flagged price

Choose a task: approve a suggested price, save your own price, keep the current price, export the queue or approve in bulk.

Before you start

  • Dashboard → Inventory → Pricing
  • You need pricing view and update permissions to use Pricing. Applying inventory prices also requires pricing sync permission. Ask the store owner to review your role if a control is unavailable.

What success looks like

  • Completed decisions leave the queue. Check inventory to confirm the resulting price and any manual lock.

Quick start

Choose the task you need. Each task has its own steps.

Approve a suggested price

  1. 1Open Pricing → Review Pricing. Find the card and check its identity, reason, suggested price and any Applies to inventory rows count. A grouped action affects every inventory row in that group.
  2. 2Use Approve new price on that row to accept its suggested price. If there is no usable price, use the custom-price task instead.
  3. 3Wait for the entry to leave the queue, then check the affected inventory prices. If the action fails or the result is unclear, refresh the queue before retrying.

Save a custom price

  1. 1Open Pricing → Review Pricing and find the card. Check the group count before editing: one entered price applies to all inventory rows in that group.
  2. 2Enter your price with no more than two decimal places. Correct any invalid-price message before saving.
  3. 3Choose Save custom price. For a No Data row, the action is Save manual price and lock automated pricing; this saves your entry and locks future automatic updates for those rows.
  4. 4Wait for completion and check the inventory price and lock. If the result is unclear, use Refresh review queue before deciding whether to retry; completed changes are not replayed by that refresh.

Keep the current price

  1. 1Open Pricing → Review Pricing and find the card. Check its current price and the inventory rows included in the group.
  2. 2Choose Reject (keep current price), or Dismiss for a No Data entry. This resolves the current review without applying the suggested price.
  3. 3Check that the entry leaves the queue and the inventory still has its current price. A later pricing run can flag it again if the underlying condition remains.

Export the review queue

  1. 1Open Pricing → Review Pricing and click CSV to download the queue.
  2. 2Open the CSV to review the exported rows. Downloading it does not approve or change prices. For spreadsheet corrections, follow the file instructions and import it through Inventory Tools → Price Review Import.
  3. 3Keep the CSV for your records. Importing changes is a separate action; review its preview before applying anything.

Approve all eligible prices

  1. 1Open Pricing → Review Pricing. Review any custom prices you entered and correct invalid entries before choosing Approve All.
  2. 2Read the confirmation. It covers all eligible flagged rows in the store, including rows beyond the page. Entered custom prices are saved first; remaining rows use suggested prices. Rows without usable prices stay in review. Manually locked and out-of-stock rows are excluded. Cancel to make no changes.
  3. 3Confirm once and inspect the result and remaining queue. If some changes fail or the response is unclear, click Refresh review queue and check which rows remain before another attempt.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

The price review could not be completed

Some rows may already have saved. Click Refresh review queue to read current results without resubmitting them. Check unresolved entries before retrying. If refresh fails, wait or contact support.

A custom price stops updating

Saving a manual price for a No Data entry locks automatic pricing. Open the inventory row to review or remove the lock if that is what you intend.

An entry covers several inventory rows

A grouped row can contain different conditions. Its action applies to all listed inventory rows; check the count before approving, rejecting or entering one custom price.
