Pricing
Preview and apply automatic price changes
Choose whether to preview the effect of saved pricing rules or apply prices to eligible inventory.
Before you start
- Dashboard → Inventory → Pricing
- You need pricing view and update permissions to use Pricing. Preview Changes and applying inventory prices also require pricing sync permission. Download Preview CSV, when offered, uses pricing view permission. Ask the store owner to review your role if a control is unavailable.
What success looks like
- A preview leaves inventory prices unchanged. An apply action updates eligible rows, with unresolved exceptions kept for review.
Quick start
Choose the task you need. Each task has its own steps.
Preview without applying prices
- 1Open Pricing. The preview uses saved rules; save any intended rule changes first.
- 2Under Market Data, click Preview Changes when it is available. If the Pricing settings changed notice is present, Download Preview CSV is another way to inspect the proposed prices.
- 3Read the preview counts or open the downloaded CSV to inspect proposed changes. Previewing does not apply those prices.
- 4You can stop here. Applying prices is a separate task and requires your decision.
Apply prices to inventory
- 1Open Pricing and check the saved rules and preview before deciding to apply them.
- 2When offered, choose Apply New Prices in the Pricing settings changed notice or Sync Inventory Prices under Market Data. Read the confirmation; this affects eligible inventory across the store, not just one card. Manually locked prices are excluded.
- 3Confirm once and wait for the result. Cancel if the scope is not what you intended. If the result is unclear, reload Pricing and inspect the current status and affected inventory before deciding whether another attempt is needed.
- 4Check affected inventory and the Price Review Queue. Held decreases or missing-data entries may need review; completing this task does not automatically approve them.

- Dismiss closes the settings-change notice without applying prices.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
Some prices stayed the same
Check manual pricing locks, pricing availability, stock and the Price Review Queue. A completed run does not mean every row changed.
The sync control is missing
Your role needs pricing sync permission. The control is also hidden while pricing is running, or when automatic pricing is current and no inventory needs its first price. Check the displayed pricing status.
