Pricing
Set automatic pricing rules and condition adjustments
Choose a task: turn automatic pricing on or off, change pricing rules, or set condition adjustments.
Before you start
- Dashboard → Inventory → Pricing
- You need pricing view and update permissions to use Pricing. Applying inventory prices also requires pricing sync permission. Ask the store owner to review your role if a control is unavailable.
What success looks like
- The saved settings remain after reloading. Previewing or applying prices is a separate task.
Quick start
Choose the task you need. Each task has its own steps.
Turn automatic pricing on or off
- 1Open Pricing and check the Automatic Pricing switch. If the settings fail to load, click Retry settings before making changes.
- 2Set Automatic Pricing on or off as needed. Turning it on shows the rule controls and allows automatic updates for eligible inventory; turning it off stops those automatic updates.
- 3Click Save Changes once and wait for Saved. Reload Pricing and check your saved values. Saving rules does not immediately recalculate existing inventory.
Change markup or minimum price
- 1Open Pricing → Automatic Pricing. If it is off, the rule fields are hidden. Only turn it on if you want automatic pricing enabled.
- 2To change your markup, enter Default Markup. To change the price floor, enter Minimum Price. Change only the field you intend to adjust.
- 3Click Save Changes once and wait for Saved. Reload Pricing and check your saved values. Saving rules does not immediately recalculate existing inventory.
Choose price bases and fallback
- 1Open Pricing → Automatic Pricing → Price Points. These controls are shown when Automatic Pricing is on.
- 2Choose Sell Price Base or Buylist Price Base for the price you want to change. Set If Data Unavailable if you want to change the fallback when that data is missing.
- 3Click Save Changes once and wait for Saved. Reload Pricing and check your saved values. Saving rules does not immediately recalculate existing inventory.
Set condition adjustments
- 1Open Pricing → Automatic Pricing → Condition Adjustments. These controls are shown when Automatic Pricing is on.
- 2For general condition percentages, change the Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played or Damaged value you need.
- 3For a particular game, use Per-TCG Overrides to add that game and enter its LP, MP, HP and DMG percentages. Remove its override to use the general percentages again. General adjustments and per-game overrides are alternatives; use the scope you need.
- 4If you opened Per-TCG Overrides, use Close condition overrides to return to Pricing. Click Save Changes once and wait for Saved. Reload Pricing and check your saved values. Saving rules does not immediately recalculate existing inventory.
Set the price-drop review threshold
- 1Open Pricing → Automatic Pricing and find Arbitrage Protection. These controls are shown when Automatic Pricing is on.
- 2Change Price Drop Threshold to set when a price decrease should be held for review.
- 3Click Save Changes once and wait for Saved. Reload Pricing and check your saved values. Saving rules does not immediately recalculate existing inventory.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
Pricing settings could not be loaded
Click Retry settings. Do not enter replacement values based on guesses. If the error continues, contact support.
The settings saved but inventory did not change
Saving rules and applying prices are separate actions. Use Preview and apply automatic price changes to check the effect before deciding to apply it.
A game has no pricing data
Open Supported games to check availability. Data availability can vary by printing and condition; review your fallback or use manual pricing when needed.
