Products

Create or edit a standard product

Add a physical product, such as sealed packs, board games, sleeves, food or snacks, with its own price, barcode, images and stock.

Before you start

  • Dashboard → Inventory → Products
  • Your account needs permission to view products. Creating, updating, and deleting them require the corresponding product permissions.

What success looks like

  • The product appears under its type and category with the saved details and warehouse inventory.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Open Products and select a product type and warehouse. Click Add Product → Standard product, or open an existing product to edit it.
  2. 2Enter the Name, Sell Price and Stock. Add a SKU, barcode and Category if needed. You can enter details manually; a barcode lookup is optional. Check any details returned by a lookup before using them.
  3. 3Review Release Schedule and Sales Channels, then click Create or Update. Cancel discards ordinary unsaved form changes. A change made with Save barcode is saved immediately and is not undone by Cancel.
  4. 4Optional details include Brand, Description, images, MSRP, Low Stock Alert and Maximum per online order. Use Unlimited Stock only when availability should not depend on a finite stock count. Save any further changes with Update.
  5. 5Reopen the product and check its saved details, barcode, price and warehouse stock.

Fields and options
  • Name: The product name shown in the dashboard and storefront.
  • SKU: Your product reference, separate from the scannable barcode.
  • Sell Price: The price charged per item before applicable discounts and tax.
  • MSRP: The optional reference price.
  • Low Stock Alert: The quantity threshold used for low-stock notices.
  • Maximum per online order: A per-product online quantity limit. Leave blank for no limit.
  • Unlimited Stock: Allows availability without using a finite stock limit.

UPC lookup finds nothing

The editor permits manual entry. A lookup result is not required to save a product.

Create or Update reports missing details

Check the marked fields and the error badges on the editor tabs. Keep the form open while correcting them.
