Dashboard

Respond to dashboard alerts

Dashboard alerts point to records that need attention, such as orders awaiting fulfillment or prices awaiting review. Follow the alert to the page where you can resolve it.

Before you start

  • Dashboard
  • Sign in with an active owner or staff account. Your permissions determine which summaries and pages you can see.

What success looks like

  • The dashboard updates after the underlying records change. Hiding an alert affects its display only.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Click the Action Items summary to see its counts, then choose an item to open the relevant page. Also review any separate notices displayed on the dashboard.
  2. 2Click the alert’s action link, such as Go to Settings, Payment Setup, Fix inventory, or Marketplaces.
  3. 3If you need to open the page yourself, go to Pricing for price reviews, Orders for unfulfilled orders, Buylist for pending submissions, or Accounting for journal drafts.
  4. 4Complete the required action and check that the change was saved on that page.
  5. 5Return to Dashboard. Refresh the page if the alert still shows the old count.
  6. 6Click Dismiss only when you want to hide an alert that offers that option. Dismissing an alert does not change its inventory, order, or other records.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

The alert has come back

Open the alert again to see whether the original problem remains or another record now needs attention.
