Accounting

Find and export journal entries

Filter the journal by date, source, or description. Open an entry to review its lines, or export all entries that match your filters.

Before you start

  • Accounting → Journal Entries
  • You need accounting view permission to open this section. Creating or changing accounts, entries, and recurring templates requires the appropriate accounting permissions.

What success looks like

  • You can review matching entries on screen or download their line details in a CSV.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Open Journal Entries and set the start and end dates. Choose All Sources or a source such as Sales, Marketplace, Trade-Ins, Buylist, Refunds, Events, Recurring, Reversals, or Manual.
  2. 2Enter text in Search descriptions if you need to narrow the list further.
  3. 3Open an entry to see its date, description, source, status, accounts, memos, debits, and credits.
  4. 4Use Prev and Next to move through the list.
  5. 5Click Export, which shows the number of matching entries, and wait for the file. The export includes matching entries across all pages.
  6. 6Open the CSV and check that it contains the dates and sources you selected.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

The export failed

Read the error and try again after resolving it. Keep the same filters if you need the same report, and do not assume an incomplete download contains the full journal.

An entry is missing

Check the dates, source filter, and whether the entry is a draft or posted. If another MintLGS action creates the entry, check that the original action finished successfully.
