Buylist

Import or export exact buylist prices

Download your active exact offers, or check a CSV before importing new and changed prices.

Before you start

  • Buylist → Buylist Rules → Exact card prices
  • You need buylist view permission to export. Importing requires both buylist create and update permissions.
  • Export includes all active exact prices for your store. Search and condition filters on the page do not limit the download.
  • An import changes exact offers only. It does not buy cards, pay a customer or change stock.

What success looks like

  • Export gives you the active exact-price list. A successful import adds or updates the matching exact offers.

Quick start

Choose the task you need. Each task has its own steps.

Export your exact prices

  1. 1Open Buylist → Buylist Rules → Exact card prices.
  2. 2Click Export CSV. Open the downloaded file and check the card names, printings, conditions and prices.
  3. 3Keep the ten exported headers if you plan to import the file later. Save a copy before editing prices.

Preview and import a price file

  1. 1Open Buylist → Buylist Rules → Exact card prices. Click Import CSV.
  2. 2Choose a CSV with no more than 5,000 price rows. Keep Card Name, TCG, Set Name, Set Code, Collector Number, Language, Finish, Condition, Cash Price and Store Credit Price as headers.
  3. 3Review Rows, New, Updates, Unchanged and Errors. Fix every reported row in your file and choose it again. Wait for the preview for the current file.
  4. 4Click Import when the preview has no errors and shows the intended number of prices. Wait for the result before leaving the form.
  5. 5Check the saved rows in Exact card prices. Use Test an offer to check a printing, condition and payout from the file.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

The file is missing required columns

Start with an export and keep all ten headers. Set Name, Set Code and Collector Number headers are still required even when some cells are blank.

A row cannot be matched to a card

Check Card Name, TCG, Set Name or Set Code, Language and Finish. Add Collector Number when needed to identify the printing. Do not change the row to a similar card just to pass the preview.

What values are required?

Fill in the card, game, language, finish, condition, at least one set field and at least one price. Use NM, LP, MP, HP or DMG for Condition. Keep each printing and condition only once in the file.

Does a blank price mean zero?

A blank price does not mean zero. You can leave one payout blank if the other has a price; the blank payout can use a matching percentage rule. Enter zero when you want an explicit zero offer.

I selected another file

Wait for that file’s preview. If it has errors, fix the file and choose it again before importing.

I am not sure the import finished

Check the current saved exact prices before importing again. A lost response can happen after prices were saved. Do not repeat an import just to check its result.

The download includes more rows than the page

Export includes all active exact prices for your store, regardless of the page’s search or condition filters.

Import CSV is missing

Ask your store owner for both buylist create and update permissions. View permission still lets you export.

The file has more than 5,000 rows

Split it into files with no more than 5,000 price rows each. Keep all ten headers in every file, and preview each file before importing.
