Point of Sale

Use kiosk mode and return to the staff register

Let a customer build an unpaid cart, send it to staff for checkout, and unlock the device when you want to return to staff POS.

Before you start

  • POS → More → Enter kiosk mode
  • Your account needs permission to take POS payments. Discounts, transaction history, refunds, station settings, and cash-drawer actions may require additional permissions.

What success looks like

  • Submitted carts appear in POS Orders for staff to import and complete. Entering the staff password exits kiosk mode on the device.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Select the correct POS location, then choose More → Enter kiosk mode. Browse TCG Singles or Products, search by name, and use Load More for additional results.
  2. 2Choose the exact product option or single condition and add it to Your Cart. Check the items and quantities. Use Continue Browsing to add more, edit cart quantities, or Clear Cart to discard the request.
  3. 3Choose Submit Order and wait for Order Submitted. This sends an unpaid pending request to staff; it does not take payment.
  4. 4Staff can open the request through Orders in the POS header and Import to Cart. Check the cart before taking payment.
  5. 5To leave kiosk mode on the kiosk device, use the lock control labeled Staff: exit kiosk, enter Staff password, and choose Unlock. Cancel keeps kiosk mode open.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

How do I exit kiosk mode?

Select the lock control labeled Staff: exit kiosk, enter your Staff password, and click Unlock. Cancel keeps the kiosk open. An incorrect password leaves the kiosk locked; re-enter the correct password.

A product is not offered in the kiosk

Check the selected location, available stock, and exact product option. The kiosk uses Online Sales visibility. Check Online Sales on the product or option and its warehouse; POS Sales alone does not make it visible in the kiosk.

The customer expected an order receipt

Submit Order creates an unpaid pending request. Staff must complete checkout before a transaction receipt exists.

How do I turn on kiosk mode?

Open Point of Sale and choose the location for this device. In the POS header, choose More → Enter kiosk mode. Check that the customer browsing screen opens. You can leave it ready for customers; you do not need to add items or submit an order to turn it on.

What comes after turning on kiosk mode?

Once the customer browsing screen is open, leave the device ready for customers. Turning on kiosk mode does not require an order or a payment.
