View a customer's POS purchases and store credit history

Find a customer's past purchases, credit gained, and credit used in POS.

Before you start

  • Dashboard → Point of Sale → MintLGS POS
  • Your account needs permission to take POS payments. Discounts, transaction history, refunds, station settings, and cash-drawer actions may require additional permissions.

What success looks like

  • You can review the selected customer's purchases and credit activity for the chosen dates. Viewing history does not change their credit balance.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Use Search customer to select the existing customer. On a small screen, open Transaction first.
  2. 2Click the Customer History icon beside the selected customer. Choose Credit Gained or Credit Used to see the relevant credit entries, or Purchases Only to see purchases.
  3. 3Set the start and end dates for the period you need. Choose All Activity to return to the combined history. Close the history window when you are finished.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

I cannot find older activity

The date range initially covers the last three months. Move the start date back and check that you selected the correct customer and activity filter.

History will not load

Use Retry and check permissions. A failed or empty history request does not mean the credit balance is zero.

I am already taking payment

You can also open Customer History beside the selected customer in the payment window. Close history to return to the payment you were preparing.
