TCG Singles
Add, rename, reorder, or delete a game category
Choose a task: add a custom game, rename it, arrange your games, or remove a custom category.
Before you start
- Dashboard → Inventory → TCG Singles
- You need inventory view permission to open TCG Singles. Adding a game requires product create permission; renaming or reordering requires product update permission. Deleting also requires product delete permission.
What success looks like
- Check the result of your chosen task in TCG Singles. Reading these instructions does not change your games or inventory.
Quick start
Choose the task you need. Each task has its own steps.
Add a custom game
- 1Open TCG Singles and check the existing games. Expand TCGs with no inventory before creating a category for a game you cannot see.
- 2Click Add Custom TCG. Enter Code (short identifier) and Display Name. Use a short code of up to 20 characters; letters are converted to uppercase.
- 3Click Create and wait for the form to close. Find the new game under TCGs with no inventory. Creating a game does not add any cards or stock.
Rename a custom game
- 1Open TCG Singles and find your custom game. Expand TCGs with no inventory if needed, then click Manage on its tile.
- 2Change Display Name and click Save. Use Cancel to leave the name unchanged.
- 3Check the updated name on the tile. Renaming the game does not change its code, cards or quantities.
Reorder games
- 1Open TCG Singles and click Manage Order. All your game tiles appear together for arranging.
- 2Drag a tile to its new position. With a keyboard, focus its drag control, press Space, use the arrow keys to move it, then press Space to drop it.
- 3Click Done once and wait for the saved list. If Load saved order or Refresh saved order appears, use that action before making another change. It reads the current order without saving again.
- 4Check the order on TCG Singles. In the normal view, stocked games and games with no inventory remain in separate groups. Your preference applies to your store; it does not rearrange other stores.
Delete a custom game
- 1Open TCG Singles, find the custom game, and click Manage, then Delete Category. This first action checks its inventory; it does not delete the category.
- 2Read the confirmation. Cancel below it keeps the category. Only continue if you intend to remove that custom game.
- 3If it contains inventory, use Download CSV backup first to keep a copy of its singles data. Check the downloaded file before continuing. This export is not a complete backup of your store or a one-click undo.
- 4For a category with inventory, Delete Everything removes its singles inventory and custom card entries. For an empty category, choose Yes, Delete. This cannot be undone; do not use deletion to hide stock or change its name.
- 5Wait for the form to close, then check TCG Singles. The custom category should be gone. If the result is unclear, reload and check the current category and inventory before trying another deletion.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
The order save could not be confirmed
Choose Load saved order. It reads the current list without repeating the save. If the order is already correct, stop. Otherwise, choose Manage Order and arrange it again after the check succeeds.
The order was saved but the list did not refresh
Choose Refresh saved order to read the saved list without saving again. If the check fails, use the same action again before changing the order.
A game tile is hidden
Expand TCGs with no inventory. Empty games are grouped separately in the normal view, even after reordering.
Manage or Delete Category is unavailable
Only custom game categories can be renamed or deleted here. Opening Manage requires product update permission; Delete Category also requires product delete permission. Ask the store owner to review your role.
A create, rename or delete result is unclear
Check the message and reload TCG Singles to see the current result before submitting again. Look under TCGs with no inventory too. If it remains unclear, contact support with the game name and code.
