Dashboard

Find help without leaving your work

Ask a question, read instructions for your current task, or run a supported read-only store check where chat is enabled.

Before you start

  • Store dashboard → Help & support
  • Available to signed-in store owners and staff where the Help panel is enabled.
  • Keep personal information, customer details, payment details, passwords, and connection keys out of your question.

What success looks like

  • You can read instructions and return to the same task. Help does not save, cancel, or submit changes in your store.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Click Help & support in the dashboard navigation. On a small screen, use the Help button at the top. In a form that has Help with this page, you can open Help while keeping the form open.
  2. 2Where chat is available, enter a short question and press Enter or click Send. Use Shift+Enter for a new line. Your question appears immediately while Help finds guidance. The message box stays at the bottom. You can ask a follow-up in the same panel or ask a new question to change topics. Name the task when you change topics, such as “How do I export my inventory?” On a short screen, expand Check saved store settings to show the check buttons. In the guide-search version, enter a task and click Find an answer.
  3. 3Use Storefront sales, Saved payment setup, or Latest import to run a supported store check. MintLGS checks your current staff permissions and shows the saved facts with a check time. These buttons work without AI matching. Payment setup does not test a live terminal or provider connection; storefront sales checks only the sales switch.
  4. 4When AI matching is available, your question and public Help context are sent to OpenAI to identify a guide, a specific reviewed instruction for a follow-up, or a supported check. Store-check results stay in MintLGS. Answers use our reviewed Help text and fixed explanations; the chat cannot inspect arbitrary records or change your store.
  5. 5When an answer shows a location, follow that path to the controls. Use an Open button in the answer to go to the relevant dashboard page. On a wide screen, Help stays beside your work; on a smaller screen, reopen Help to continue the same conversation. Finish or close an open form before changing pages. Select Read guide for the full instructions, then Back to chat to continue. Use Open the full guide to open the Help Center in another tab. Use Show remaining steps to read the rest, or ask “one step at a time.” Select Next step to continue, or type “next.” If several guides or tasks are offered, choose one or ask for “the second one.” Steps stay within the task you chose. Use Other tasks to switch to a different action. If an answer does not help, say so and choose a troubleshooting question or describe what you see. Earlier account results clear when you ask another question, close Help, or navigate; use Check again for the current status.
  6. 6Close Help to return to your work. Opening Help from a form keeps the values you already entered. Closing Help and moving between dashboard pages keep the conversation and your unsent question in this browser tab. New chat, reloading the page, signing out, or changing accounts or staff permissions clears it. Where the panel shows the 90-day review notice, MintLGS saves redacted questions and answers for private quality review by authorized platform staff. Private store-check values are omitted. Clearing this tab does not delete the review record. Use Yes or No under an answer to say whether it helped. Where the panel also shows the automatic quality review notice, redacted chats and public Help instructions may be sent to OpenAI to assess answer quality. Older chats recorded without that notice are excluded. The separate reviewer cannot access your account or make changes; the Help chatbot cannot retrieve saved chats. Security signals are recorded separately using reason codes and counts.
  7. 7If the guide does not resolve the issue, click Contact support. Sign in to your MintLGS account if asked, then review and submit your own request. A selected guide is included for reference.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

AI matching is unavailable

A clear Help match can still show instructions. If the match is uncertain, choose from the suggested guides instead. These suggestions do not mean your account was checked. You can also use the supported store-check buttons, read Help guides, or contact support.

A check is unavailable or access is denied

The chat uses your current staff permissions. Ask your store owner to review your access. If the service is unavailable, use the owning dashboard page or contact support; the chat has not changed your settings.

The question needs a different account check

This version supports only the storefront sales switch, saved payment setup, and the latest import. It cannot diagnose a particular product, order, customer, or live device. Open the relevant dashboard page or contact support.

The suggested guides do not answer my question

Say “that did not help,” then choose a troubleshooting question or explain what you see and what you expected. Choose a guide before asking a vague follow-up such as “where is that?” If there is no useful match, contact support instead of relying on an unrelated guide.

I do not see the Help button

The panel may not be enabled for your dashboard yet. You can still open the Help Center from the MintLGS website.
