Payment Setup
Choose payment processors and channel defaults
Choose which connected payment provider MintLGS uses by default for in-store or online checkout.
Before you start
- Sales → Payment Setup
- Your account needs Payments: Manage setup permission to open and configure Payment Setup. Viewing cash-drawer activity requires Payments: View status.
What success looks like
- The active provider you selected becomes the default for that payment channel.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1Open Payment Setup and review any unfinished setup shown in Overview.
- 2Select In-store payments or Online payments.
- 3Open an available provider and complete its connection and activation steps. A provider marked unavailable cannot be enabled here.
- 4On the active connection, click Use as default. Configure the other payment channel separately if needed.
- 5Return to Overview to check readiness, then open POS or storefront checkout to confirm that the expected provider is available.
