Add and arrange footer columns

Create columns of links at the bottom of your storefront. Each column can have a heading, additional text, and links to pages or catalog views.

Before you start

  • Content → Navigation
  • You need Edit permission for Branding, Navigation & Testimonials.

What success looks like

  • The footer shows the columns, text, and links you saved.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Open Content → Navigation and find Footer Navigation. Link columns require the Standard or Expanded footer style in Branding → Footer.
  2. 2To add a column, click Add Column. Enter a Column heading and optional Content. To change an existing column, edit those fields in place.
  3. 3Inside the column, click Add Item only if you need a new link. Choose its type and details, then use the add button for that type.
  4. 4To edit an existing link, click Edit, change its label or custom URL, and click Save Changes in Edit Item to return to Navigation.
  5. 5Only if needed, drag links or columns to reorder them. Delete removes a menu link; Delete column removes the column and its menu links.
  6. 6Click Save Changes at the top of Navigation to publish your changes. Open the storefront and check the footer links at desktop and mobile widths.

  • Change footer colors, styling, and social profile links in Content → Branding.

Troubleshooting

Choose the symptom that matches what you see.

Add Column is missing

The Minimal footer style does not display link columns. Open Branding → Footer, choose Standard or Expanded, and save. Your existing columns are retained when you change styles.

Policy links are missing

Open Storefront Policies in Store Settings and save text for each policy you want to publish.

I want to change the colors or social icons

Open Branding → Footer. Navigation controls the footer’s menu content.
