Delete a storefront page
Delete a page you no longer need, then remove or update any menu links and buttons that point to its old address.
Before you start
- Content → Pages
- You need Pages: View permission to open this section. Creating, editing, or deleting a page requires the corresponding Create, Edit, or Remove permission.
What success looks like
- The page is removed from Pages and is no longer available on the storefront.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1Find the page in Content → Pages, or open it in the page editor.
- 2Click Delete if the action is available.
- 3Read the Delete Page confirmation and check the page name before confirming.
- 4Wait for the page list to return and make sure the deleted page is no longer listed.
- 5Update Navigation and any page buttons that still point to the deleted page’s URL.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
Delete is unavailable
Check that your role has Pages: Remove permission. Some protected pages cannot be deleted.
A link now opens a missing page
Edit the menu or page containing that link and replace or remove the deleted page’s address.
