Add, move, or remove page sections
Build a page by placing sections from the library onto the page canvas. Rearrange existing sections and check the layout at different screen sizes.
Before you start
- Content → Pages
- You need Pages: View permission to open this section. Creating, editing, or deleting a page requires the corresponding Create, Edit, or Remove permission.
What success looks like
- The page keeps the sections in the order you saved.
Quick start
The shortest path through this area.
- 1Open the page editor and find Add sections and the Page canvas. On a narrow screen, the section list is above the canvas.
- 2Drag a section from the library to the place where you want it on the page.
- 3Click a section’s Edit button to change its content. To move it, drag it to another position or use its move-up and move-down controls.
- 4Select Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile on the canvas to check the arrangement at each size.
- 5Use a section’s removal action to take it off the page.
- 6Click Save, then reopen the page to confirm the section order.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
Dragging is difficult
Use the move-up and move-down controls to rearrange existing sections. Choose a preview size that makes the canvas comfortable to work with.
A removed section came back
Removing a section changes the page you are editing. Click Save before leaving to keep that removal.
