Add or edit a Columns Layout section

Arrange content side by side in two or three columns. Each column can contain text, images, buttons, products, or other supported content.

Before you start

  • Content → Pages → page editor → Columns Layout
  • You need Pages: View permission to open this section. Creating, editing, or deleting a page requires the corresponding Create, Edit, or Remove permission.

What success looks like

  • The section is saved with the page. Customers see it when the page is published.

Quick start

The shortest path through this area.

  1. 1Open the page editor. Find the section in Add sections and drag it onto the page canvas. To change a section already on the page, click its Edit button.
  2. 2To change the layout, open Column layout. Choose two or three columns, then set their widths, spacing, and vertical alignment. Click Back to return to the column list.
  3. 3Open the column you want to change. Select an existing content row to edit it. To add a new block, choose its type under Add content and click Add.
  4. 4Edit the selected block using its controls. For example, a Product block lets you choose an inventory item; a Map block lets you choose a location.
  5. 5If you want to remove a block, open it and click Remove this content. Check the mobile preview to see how the columns are arranged on a narrow screen.
  6. 6Use Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile in the section editor to check your changes. Click Apply to page to keep your edits. To leave without applying them, click Cancel and, if prompted, Discard changes.
  7. 7Click Save in the page editor. Use Preview to check the page before publishing. When it is ready for customers, select Published and save it.
