The shortest path through this area.
- 1Open Reports and select Overview.
- 2Choose a Date Range: Today, Last 7 Days, This Month, Last 3 Months, Last 6 Months, Year to Date, Last 12 Months, or Custom Range. For Custom Range, enter Start Date and End Date.
- 3Set Inventory Source, Sales Channel, and Merchandise where available. Select All Inventory Sources or All Channels to remove those filters.
- 4Choose Day, Week, or Month under Group By.
- 5Review Sales, Orders, Average order value, Discount rate, Return rate, Units / order, and Known customers. These values use the filters you selected.
- 6Use Sales trend and Channel contribution to see how the totals are distributed. In the trend table, read Gross Sales, Discounts, Returns, Sales, and Tax as separate amounts.
- 7Use Rows to change the number of table entries shown. Move through the remaining entries with First, Prev, Next, and Last.
Troubleshooting
Choose the symptom that matches what you see.
The totals differ from the dashboard
Compare the same dates, inventory source, merchandise, and sales channel. Also check whether you are comparing gross sales with a total that includes discounts or returns.
The report is empty
Check the date range, then remove filters one at a time. A restrictive filter may be excluding the transactions you expect to see.
